Heya. I have some followers on here who know about my main internet art presence (the more dire thing to address here, but this applies to art in general,) I lost access to my Twitter accounts (all of them,) as well as all of my files -- (**NOT** GONE/DELETED, just can't get into them because of access issues on the other laptop I was using (I am on a different one atm,) which I didn't have admin access on, and am now locked out of) I can't get into my gmail account/s to recover/reset my passwords. I'm an idiot with cybersafety and I thought it would be a good idea to change my account passwords for maybe the first time in my life, as I've been meaning to since my passwords were leaked in security breaches some time ago and multiple accounts on the same and across different platforms were under the same password... Now I don't know what the god damn passwords ARE, so I'm not only locked out of most of my social medias, but all of the important gmail address/es I'd need to recover my accounts, (and the backup e-mail at the end of the chain of backup emails I'd need to break into to start getting them back one by one is... An ancient Yahoo address, literally the one my mother made for me when I was 5 years old, which I also don't have access to because it's associated phone number was the first phone I ever had that is to my knowledge still at the bottom of a lake where I threw it in a fit of teenage rage. And the other addresses? I can't recover because THOSE are married to one of two DIFFERENT old phone numbers I ALSO no longer have access to as I moved out of my home country, and then back, and changed my phone number twice in that process.)
On top of that, I did have access to my main Twitter on mobile only, but guess what- my phone is broken! I dropped it while taking a piss, and it's smashed and unusable... really fucking stupid :B I do not have the $140 to repair it on hand. For now I'm borrowing a friend's old phone, but am locked out of Twitter entirely.
I'm sorry for not touching base sooner, and if it's confusing but I'm trying to give as much detail as I can to explain the situation because I did just disappear abruptly. I didn't even think I could still log into this Newgrounds but just now realised I hadn't changed the password here. I'm so sorry for the unexplained departure.
I'll be back as soon as I can either brute-force my way into my accounts, or when I manage to scrounge up what I need to repair my phone. Not sure what more I can do besides either of those, following the path of account recovery ends in a dead end due to not having access to dead phone numbers.
TLDR: Locked out of laptop, locked out of social media, locked out of gmail, hit an impossible dead-end trying to recover it from the furthest back point possible. Forgot to change the password on this newgrounds account, so afaik it's the only place I can post this for visibility and I'm praying it trickles back to my followers SOMEHOW.
If you could spread this around, maybe post it to my server if you're in it, I'd really appreciate it. For all intents and purposes my main internet presence, and all my art up til the point I got locked out, is in cryostasis until God knows when.
